How to use the Web platform

Our Web platform is design for supermarket, store and storage.

How to login

After you connexion, you will directly have access to the dashboard. This Board should be empty, but it may also have plenty information.

Notification button will display every past alerts with the date, the cold spot name and the temperature
Dashboard window will display every alerts within all your stores (if you have autorisation over many stores) There is several level of alerte:
Orange alerte describes a first level of criticity (initialized to one consecutive hour outside threshold) that need to be handle before becoming red
Red alerte is the high criticity level alerte (initialized after two consecutives hours outside threshold) After that time, food start to be dangerous for consumtion.

These threshold and limit time before alert can be modified: cold spot settings

Cold chain's window will display cold spot of the selected store, and offer two new button to define a calendar without notifications (for maintenance or cleaning time), and to download reports. A scroll list is also available to select another store.

How to setup the sensors

The following instructions work for all kind of refrigeration appliance.

Scan the sensor's QR code from the TrustEat mobile application and define the settings of the concerned cold spot.
Define where to stick the sensor, it must be as high as possible (for connectivity matters)

If your sensor is given with cable probe, the device must be outside.
If your sensor does not have cables probe, it must be inside the refrigeration appliance

This place will determine the quality of temperature reception.

Stick the double-side tape on the back of the sensor.
Clean the application surface and mak sure it is damp.
Stick the device vertically (logo must be readable).

First measures can take some time to appears: wait few hours to check the reception of temperatures.

If your sensor has cable probe, the kit also contains plastic hose clamp and associated adhesive base. The cable probe must be sticked in the background of the refrigeration appliance (to reduce temperature variations), and not close to lights. Please take care of th cable probe's placement to avoid any probe removal and cable tearing.

When you are on the Web plateform , you can change a lot of things to make them fit perfectly to your etablishment. If you want to do these changes, you need to go in « settings »

When you are there, you can see three sections which are "general", "security" and my establishments.

**1. General informations : **

Actually, these informations are essentially about you.

Display name : You can change your name on your app. You have to click on it and put the name of your choice.
Cellphone: Here, you can change your phone number. If we can give you an advice : don’t put your establishment’s number. Currently, we are working on a option which is going to call you in the night to prevent of a problem with your cold chain.
Language Here, you can modify the langage of app. You have the choice between french and english.

At the end, when you’re done, you need to click on «edit» to save your choices.

2. Security

This part is only about your password. You can change it whenever you want. You need to enter your last password to make a new one. To be sure, a confirmation of your new password is asking.

You can easily log into your account both on the mobile application and the web platform using either your mail address or your username (usually first name.last name)

If you do not remember you password, you can reinitialize it clicking on "I forgot my pasword" ${color}[#ff0000](Contacting us to ask your password is useless as we do not have acces to them for confidentiality and security)

Cold Spot Settings

When a device is registered on your account, you can edit it and set it as you want.

1) Temperature

Here, you can set the minimum and the maximum temperature threshold. This function makes it possible to trigger the notification when you have a problem with your device.

2) Type of notification

You can choose the type of notification that you want to be warned in case of problem. You have the choice between mail or by mobile or you can choose both.

3) Pause notifications

This function allows you to put off the notifications. In fact, if you want to clean your device, you can just put the system off during a period of time. You have the choice between 2 hours, 1 day or during a week long. You can also desactivate these alerts.

4) Advanced Settings

This part allows you to program a warning after a period of time during which there are problems.

Visual warning This alarm will inform you in case of problem by changing the colour of the sensor on the app. First, it will be orange for the alarm, when it’s red you are going to receive a notified alert.
Notified alert This waring will send you a mail, a notification or both after a period of time which there problems. The type of notification depending on your choice in settings.
